About
Bio/Description
Eduardo is broadly interested in the macroscopic phenomena that emerge in biological populations, focusing on topics such as species survival in heterogeneous environments, self-organization and ecosystem diversity. He obtained his doctoral degree in Physics at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in 2018, with the thesis entitled “Collective behavior of living beings under spatiotemporal environmental fluctuations”. Since then, he has been dedicated to understanding the mechanisms that can promote spatiotemporal patterns in species distributions and the mutual influence between them and evolutionary dynamics.
